Andy Burcham started Sword Wolf Forge out of the passion for forging high quality knives. A Marine Corps and Gulf War veteran, Andy quickly learned the value of a good knife and uses that knowledge when forging knives.

FROM THE FORGE

Functional, high-quality knives are made in my forge. Every knife is hand crafted from raw steel, individually heat treated, hand finished with quality handle material and custom fitted with a handmade leather sheath. I take pride in creating unique pieces for my customers.

This kitchen knife is a project John Summerhill and Andy worked on together. The blade is 140 layers of 80crv2 and 15n20 which was then twisted 16 times. The handle is stabilized maple burl.

Drop point camp knife. The blade 17 inch blade is W2 steel differentialy heat treated with clay to get a hamon. The handle is wenge wood.

This nakiri kitchen knife has a blade that is 60 layers of 80crv2 and 15N20 and was twisted 3 times. The handle is mahogany.

A hunter with a 1084 blade. The guard is mild steel and an antler handle.

Multiple Knives

My wedding knife. The blade is W2 steel. The guard and pommel are of low layer damascus and the handle is curly maple.
